The first two chapters of Remothered have been remastered in Unreal Engine 5, bringing enhanced visuals, refined lighting, and a stronger sense of atmosphere to the environments that shaped the origins of the saga. This work represents a significant step in preserving and elevating the identity of Remothered for both long‑time players and those approaching the series for the first time.

Today, we are presenting two new trailers offering a new glimpse of the atmosphere of the remastered editions, along with an important update for players who purchased digital copies of the original titles.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers Remastered – Release Window Trailer

The first remastered chapter enhances the villa’s interiors with sharper detail and improved lighting, reinforcing the tension and atmosphere that defined the original experience. Every room, symbol and encounter has been visually refined while preserving the narrative and psychological identity of the game.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain Remastered – Release Window Trailer

The second remastered chapter introduces greater clarity to its environments and a more cohesive visual presentation across the entire experience. The inn, its Stalkers and its defining moments now benefit from improved detail and a heightened sense of presence, allowing the atmosphere to emerge with the intensity intended from the start.

Free Upgrade for Digital Purchasers

Stormind Games is pleased to confirm that players who purchased the digital versions of Remothered: Tormented Fathers or Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be able to upgrade to the new remastered editions at no additional cost during the first seven days after release.

This initiative is dedicated to everyone who has supported Remothered over the years by purchasing the original digital editions, including those who have only recently purchased them. The free upgrade will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store. It does not apply to physical editions or copies obtained for free.

The remastered editions were developed to preserve the core identity of the originals while enhancing their visual atmosphere, psychological tension and overall presentation. They offer a renewed way to experience the foundations of Remothered, especially as Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy prepares to expand the universe further.

Both remastered editions are coming in Q1 2027.
